Abstract

The purpose of this report is to explain, in detail, the methodology and calculations involved in the construction of a program designed to calculate recovery erriciency from relative permeability data when water injection is employed in an oil reservoir. The program is an excel spreadsheet that generates water injected versus oil recovery (recovery efficiency) data from both relative permeability sets and also end-point relative permeabilities and Cory exponents data. All equations and methodologies used in the program were sourced from "Fundamentals of Reservoir Engineering" by LP Dake.
